Permission

a spontaneous poem tapped upon seeing a baby flower bud…while at “Art in Bloom” at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts…

 Is this the way?

Am I doing life right?

Is this how to be Love …day and night?

Or should it look like this?

And what about that too?

Will you show me God how to reflect …YOU?

And so goes the innocent deeply tender questioning…

Until one day thought resolves to stop consenting

to doubt

to fear

to second guessing and more

And just allows herself BE LOVE without map,

or outline,

or form…

For there is no right…

And there is no wrong…

And there is no better way…

And there is no job well done…

When unselved uninhibited unrestricted Love impels thought…

And only we ourselves can turn within,

heed that nudge,

and from it, act and expand on…

No worry

No fret

No wonder what could have been

Only Love reflected

Always only being it

So if asking “Am I doing life right?”

Or if thought is stewing over ‘do I go here or there tonight?”

Or if thought is scurrying around wondering what could have been…

Go deeper still…

Being love …thought by thought… answers all questions.

No one can do it for you…

No one’s way is yours…

No one else is hearing what you are, you can be absolutely sure.

But Love is steering and directing and nudging and showing…

And when I remember this, oh do my actions reveal my heart’s overflowing….

My heart to yours,

Tre ~
