When I wake up with regret
I strive to pay attention to what that feeling is
It’s only a momentary pull
to lure thought from all the good of divine Love
And see it’s our inherent right
to be that expression of Love day and night.
So the moments there is deep regret,
I have to go within and with thought strive to refocus it.
I take note of whatever the pull to feel regret about is saying.
I acknowledge whatever truth is there and strive to be better with how I express Love that very day.
But I also know that there’s a pull to constantly dwell.
And it’s easy to lose a day, a week, months, or years feeling regret if we are not careful.
Thought loves to wander all over the place
So it’s vital to me to try to grab hold of its reigns or rudder and steer it.
For the thought tip today, my poem offers a little bit of strategy of what I strive to do in thought when I sense regret there when I awake.
If you wish to connect about this thought tip and chat about overcoming regret further, I welcome hearing from you.
My heart to yours,
Tre ~
