I have a little friend.
Her name is M. Enough.
And when I share the day with her,
I feel seen and held and hugged.
She takes me as I am…
And keeps thought in the now.
She notices my abilities…
And unconditionally embraces my capabilities.
There’s no pressure to perform,
Or try to make her proud.
She looks beyond the surface…
And finds the inner wow!
She understands that motives matter
And judge not accepts the good.
One day when she came by,
I didn’t know if I should….
Open the door
And embrace her too…
I was nervous quite in fact.
I actually thought she was someone else…
And I said, “Can you come back?”
She knocked a little bit harder and said,
“Tre it’s me… Open Up.”
And then I didnt really recognize the voice so I said, “Who?”
And she said “M. Enough.”
So I cracked the door slightly…
And kinda poked my head out.
But seeing her face smile and her warmth exude?
I had to open up!
Sometimes when we look into the eyes we know how we’re received.
I’m so glad I welcomed M. Enough that day.
She’s with all of us I truly believe.
