It would be lovely if we always had
Moments of thought space in which to plan
But often the dream of what we see
Must resolve to be on hold and in the now do what we are able to meet the now need
And then when things fall apart or don’t go as planned
Wouldn’t it be heaven to let go and start over with a huge step back and deep breath?
But we aren’t always able to because the work goes on
And you may be without a sink for several days but you still have work cases to devote to so you press on
And you may see the very thing that you hope to live in someday
Be gobbled by investors not in a matter of weeks but seconds one day
And you may watch every choice you have ever made
and see where it was that experience that day that caused you to choose it that way
But if it’s all been out of love as best you’ve been able
Does it matter if it feels you’re not that much closer
To the outcome you we’re striving for
Is it possible in the midst Love is showing you
the only outcome is how you are being NOW through and through?
Panic fear regret and feeling victimized
Have a way of hardening our hearts and making us doubt our worthiness to keep on at times
But Love comes in and says “luvbug your motive has never been wrong”
Everything you’ve always wanted is simply your way of hearing my song”
And so a new now moment and a new now way come to show us nothing has really ever been a mess or our choices a mistake
But what we had to do in that day and moment and time
And so we take a deep breath and begin to look more at where thought is and less at the new shiny outcome we thought we so desired…
Dear friend reading
I mean this with my whole being:
Maybe you’ve pined for the perfect husband home and family
Maybe you’ve desired the career that finds you satisfied and fulfilled
Maybe you think you’re supposed to pitch a convincing launch campaign and get investor capital
Maybe you’ve pined for a bed near a collection you intend to finish
Whatever the desired outcome my hope for you is
You stop at nothing to value and cherish the outcome of your being
The what you are living
The who you are now this moment
The all you have always been here to be the thoughts and the substance the truth of your individuality…
My hope for you and for me and for so many
Is that no past experience ever makes us doubt our worth or ability
To have the bounty of what we deserve
And that no experience or circumstance hardens our heart or makes us bitter
And that no situation where we are serving someone
Makes us feel that’s all we are capable of
May we all find the ability to defend our dream is the most invaluable important thing and stop at nothing to see it through…
Love loves us that much and won’t ever make us let go what we are here and meant to do
