Choosing …making a decision…breaking the mold..just a tad

So…lemme call it. Sometimes you know but not enough to make a huge commitment….

Sometimes you know enough to take a step.

And often–so I’m learning–that’s all you need to know.

What’s helping me sculpt who I am from all that I’ve been is this:

Doing what I can, as I can, nothing more, nothing less, but consistently and constantly moving forward.

If I feel stuck, I have to figure out why and listen.

If I feel trapped, I’ve gotta humbly ask myself: is it ’cause I’m about to make a commitment that intimidates me, or is it because I’m going against the grain of ‘what society says?’

Everyone I respect, everyone I get inspired by, are risk takers.

I adore them for it.

They humble me and keep me honest.

And their examples sustain me when I standing still, weak in the knees, knowing what I have to do and yet feeling scared to take that step.

I wonder how many of them realize the steps they took help those of us who are trying to take yet another step.

Here’s what I know for sure: while most who observe me would say I’m not good at making decisions, I defend to the core I’m weighing what matters most and still…yes even still… listening for what my heart of heart says.

Spend several decades of your life ignoring her, or worse, suffocating yourself from hearing her,  it takes a bit of getting used to to start giving her the stage.

And there ya go. So I try and keep on trying.

I am so very aware of when I’m making a decision based on what culture/society/social norms say I should.

And it’s never right.

And me making that decision is never honest. To my core. Gutt.

So that’s good to know.

I recognize those patterns: safety, can move on, don’t have to think about it anymore.

When the pull to keep thinking about it at all is NOT indecision but you learning all the more how to be transparently honest with yourself…who else can nurture that need and support your authenticity to hear YOU?

No one.

But you.

So here’s to every ounce of your being learning how to discern YOU….heed YOU…respond to YOU.

Would appreciate hearing what works for you in that discerning….

Surely, what works for me is getting still, listening, and being transparently honest with my heart of hearts…

Probably why I adore looking at water so very much, the reflections, the purity of the substance…the authenticity of the texture.

Here’s to living that way…moment by moment…thought by thought. 🙂

Wheeeeee!!!

Aren't we grateful that Mind unfolds to us thought by thought what decisions She has already made for us and that there can be no human or societal tangle or web for us to get caught in while listening and seeing the revelation of God's glory in our expression of Her?!

Keep listening, for in the hush of silence comes the clear angel messages that will allow you to sore, serve and write!
