Can you see the sliver of light
In between the branches that stretch out with all their might?
Can you try again if at first the ego says “nothing is there”
Can you listen deeper still
To the little echo maybe faint once loud innocence
That wants so much to try again
And wants to refuse that apathetic stance
That simply feeds off inner knowing
That holds to the fact in Love there’s NO shutdowning
Look beyond the surface and try
Try try try to go deeper than appearance lies
Walls are falling
And new light remains
Growing brighter if we would at once see it’s rays
Nothing that’s true and real and lasting
Will ever shut down and leave it’s loved ones exasperating
Nothing that is comforting and healing and restorative will allow a few to seek way more of value or importance
Ohhh try and try ever still
To seek that glow of the moon
That never find but fulfils Her will
Let the rigid the harsh the ego
Fall and fall some more
What remains will be what’s always been
True and real …..
I saw this moon the other night
And I insisted on finding the place just right
Where I could capture the light like a cradled view
I hopes that hope I can stand and hug with you
Cradled are we
Never abandoned a moment
Held are we never shunned or ousted
Adored are we never resented and refuted
For citizens of the world are we each and all
Each her post each his place fulfilled
