ThinkHer tool #16

Today’s thinkhertool is right out of the now for me… whenever the unexpecteds happen I go through the tsunamis of emotions… (tears fears then prayers and calm inner knowing)….#Notredame had me shedding lots of tears for the history and legacy she contains… I and millions of others have cherished year after year… the fires brought back memories of 911 and the shock and horror of watching the twin towers disintegrating…. there’s other structures that hold meaning for each of us… and I found myself whirling away deep in the thoughts and fears of what if? (What if those burned too? What’s being done to ensure they wouldn’t?)yet as I calmed those fears down and prayed about true substance… I did what I do and began to ask questions :

is a legacy contained in a building with stained glass ? Is a history of a people —a movement —containable by bricks and mortar and pages of texts … isn’t it more the lives of the people who found the structure sacred and maybe the faith and understanding they hold and live and pass on generation to generation? And yet maybe is it both? The texts and the lives… the stained glass and the stories of generations past…?….and what are we doing to ensure the stained glass and icons so dear to our heart are being passed down year after year…. and that’s what led me back to praying and poeming and so today’s thinkhertool is a bit off topic but maybe not so very…. I could go on and on… but know this dear tender friend…. the faith you have the understanding and what you live can not be snuffed out. You’ve probably touched more lives than you can count and that’s much more life than loss… so let us hope that resolve can and will rebuild…. and will think ahead to better pursue restoration with safer measures… Thinkhertool 16:

Groundedness is…

and just seems to become more real as we choose to step…

And then choose to stand…

And then choose to step and stand again and again.
