Being patient, honest, willing…then walk.

Of late I’m asking myself these questions:

Whose life are you living?

Are these your goals or ones you think you ought to achieve but motivated by an old paradigm?

How willing are you to stand, listen, hear, then walk?

And I’m reminding myself this simple truth:

No one — even though they hold our best interest — can really be the architect of our lives.

No one has that power over any of us. It’s just sometimes their expectations mean a great deal.

No one can define for me/any of us what are our innermost goals and desires and dreams.

No one really can defend them or justify them either.

I am/we each are worth every ounce of effort to discern our own.

I don’t / none of us need more time, money, or whatever to ‘hear’ what that voice of truth within is speaking.

All I must/we must do is sift through thoughts, really sit still mentally, really radically shut the door on all woulds, coulds, shoulds, ought to’s….really listen, hear, and know. And then walk.

That inner voice speaking is the voice of truth, the “true idea of voicing good to the human consciousness” is how Mary Baker Eddy describes it in her work Science and Health.

It’s forever speaking. And in truth I can, we each can, really only ever hear THAT voice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How are you doing with your listening? hearing? knowing? walking?
What helps you shut out the muck of human opinion or others’ expectations?
How are you doing being true to your heart’s desire?
As always, if you wanna chat about any of the above, leave a comment or be in touch….
Til next post, be well, Tre ~
