Couple days ago I read Liz Straussblog post offer to sum up the Social Media experience in 25 words.

Since I’ve been thinkin’ much about authenticity in life — how I’m being true to me — I thought I’d offer a unique take on my sense of the social media experience.

Here’s my 25:

~~~~~~~~~~
Being true nudges: endure and stand.
Sharing authentically invites: reflect unconditionally, unreservedly.
Expecting you devote the same:  invites reciprocity of mutual benefit: community, humanity, peace.
.
What’s your 25?
Comment here and then link to Liz’ blog post.
Here’s to keepin’ it real.
    hey jason, thanks for being here. …i think what keeps folks from being true to themselves is living life from the standpoint of what they think they must do …for a number of reasons..maybe it's what they think will make their family proud, whoever they look up to…could be it's one and the same. I don't think we should yield the self to find deeper meaning. I think in living our purest sense of truth and expressing our individuality is how we connect with others and strengthen humanity. what do you think?
    Hey Jason. Appreciate much your questions…I think surely there are pulls that each one of us responds to…discerning what we feel is our innate purpose and fulfilling that sometimes butts head with other’s expectations of us: friends, family, or simply the world’s expectations..even our own sense of what we should be doing at times. Cultivating an ongoing sense of being true to ourselves — for me — means shutting out all ‘external/other’ and discerning what matters most to you…
    Hi Tresha,
    I haven't really read through all your blogs, but read this one. I was wondering, since you make an emphasis on being true to yourself, you must feel there are things that go against being oneself. Are there things you've thought about that you think keep people from being their true self?
    Also, don't we ultimately have to yield are 'self' to find deeper understanding, love and purpose in the world we live in? Just curious what your thoughts are on balancing that. 🙂
