So you’re back once again, trying to lure me in deep
You strive to keep me fretting so that oh so very little do I sleep
You insist it’s ludicrous ridiculous even lame…
That I would dare to tell the story of her impact, yet you ignore the intent of my aim…
Your taunts sway me not, though you vehemently argue this is not mine to do…
And when I stare at 2 decades of your tactics, I can surely laugh and say BOO to you.
So this time, yes this time, you will not squelch my innate yearnings or right to breathe…
For her story gave me hope, resolve, heck even life again when all that I cared about seemed ousted or took its leave.
Be gone with you fear: false evidence appearing real
Your promise is insulting, let alone quit foolish if I agree to seal your deal…
Coupla thousands of years ago, one story found you causing Adam to blame Eve…
and seems ever since your only impact has been in trying to dupe and so deceive…
yet false ego and negatable influence that you are I will never be convinced
Denial of my innermost inklings simply rouses my resolve they’ll never again be silenced.
I will triumph and you will cease… it simply must be so….
“The earth will help the woman”* as Science proclaims the victory
condemnings and bemoanings will ne’er intimidate me once more, oh no…
For I have wings and I will use them, in fact I’ve tried quite a lot…
So what if I look like The Rescuers’ albatross
Eventually even he soared, did he not?
And so as I pause to acknowledge the source of these inklings, my heart fills with awe….
And just maybe in sharing her story and her impact I may gain a broader glimpse of all she saw…
For she labored for all mankind to comprehend the way to salvation….
Hence no more time to waste with fear but rather outpourings of elation…
So when you return tomorrow and sleuthfully attempt to sway
In a moment you’ll hear me insisting:
Be gone with you oh nothingness of fear, there’s nothing more to say.
