What would it take to stand each day
Knowing
“I am whole …complete…loved …able always
In ALL ways”
What would it take to claim accept and be
That “I am image and likeness of Spirit unequivocally?”
For me it demands I turn completely from
The mortal testimony that I exist in matter body alone
And rather embrace the spiritual truth
That pioneering metaphysician religious reformer-Her Mary Baker Eddy penned over a century ago in these words:
“Man is not matter. He is not made up of brain blood bones and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is the image and likeness of God. Matter is not that likeness. Man is spiritual and perfect…Man is idea, the image of Love, he is not physique. He is the compound idea of God including all right ideas; the generic term for all that reflects God’s image and likeness; the conscious identity of Being as found in Science, in which man is the reflection of God, or Mind,and therefore is eternal; that which has no separate mind from God; that which has not a single quality I derived from Deity; that which possesses no life, intelligence, nor creative power of his own, but reflects spiritually all that belongs to His Maker.” *
It is no small thing to admit those lines have given me life and purpose thought by thought
For what reality holds any condemnation when one mentally affirms “image and likeness of God”
incompetence holds no truth over me when I see myself at one —able to image forth —ability spiritually….
Intimidation cannot shackle my efforts on any level with any good intention when I source from that which impels all right being….
Guilt cannot be my shadow when I stand in the truth that innocence is my innate truth as I defend I embody Soul
Weakness can not be the what I bring to the table when I see that every ability I need I hold within as I defend and then step with “I am spiritual”
You name it… whatever condemning belief is trying to suffocate and smother you
No matter what justifies it who said it or if you’re believing it true
It cannot hold power if you radically refute it as if it’s an inner terrorist trying to hijack you
For the subtle or loud condemning claims of apathy insignificance unworthiness stupidity incompetence ignorance insanity and ALL of the rest
You too can refute each one because none are what Love attests
Love sees and emanates purity wholeness innocence grace
life outpours ability newness action vitality each hour every single day
“Including right ideas” is a spiritual armor that roots out and forbids every aggressive inner sabotager
So loving one tender reader taking in these words I’m sharing…. my heart to yours the belief of mortality and matter based being can be no more a prison
We can uncocoon from its stronghold and claims
We can this moment be anew again and again
Find whatever you’re believing you’re scared of or lacking
See that as the right now belief that’s trying to shackle your being
Refute it in thought and insist it’s not true
And source your why in the above of what and how you’re image and likeness of Spirit now this moment too…
Thought by thought we can uncocoon
And when you’re not anticipating the next bad hard thing it stops happening “to you” tis true…
Don’t allow yourself believe for a moment you deserve this
Don’t allow yourself stay stuck in what happened when over and over again
For allllll the while though you may see it not
Love has been there and is with you now blooming your being and all that you are…..
