Unexpected good happens when we stop assuming

When a neighbor approached me and instead of assuming her intention, I paused….

What’s fascinating to me is that each time I hault the assumed reason for someone’s approach, and instead embrace them anew in my thinking, I’m that much more open to receiving the good they are about and the substance of whatever it is they’re wanting to share.

Oh to embrace all that way…here’s to keeping on.

What helps you hault the pull to assume and view someone and their approach without judgment?
